Protocols for short term radon measurement devices
Below is is a guide for short term testing for radon gas. It is very important that the protocol below is maintained throughout the test. These protocols were established by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Continuous radon monitoring systems are approved by the EPA through a single test to establish wheter or not to recommend mitigation of radon for a structure during a real estate transaction.
Below is information on short term radon testing protocols. This information was complied from the US EPA guide "A Citizen's Guide to Radon" (EPA 402-K02-006) revised 2004 and other EPA information.
